4th Grade:

We will meet at our usual time of 9:00 today, since you have things to complete before class. That means you should complete your DLR and Close Reader Lesson between 8:00 and 9:00. All work should be turned in by end of day (3:00) today.

Daily Language Review (DLR): Week 12, Friday (identifying errors). This should be completed BEFORE our Meet. 

Handwriting: Check to make sure Lesson 14 is complete.

Reading: Close Reader, Lesson 10 (Dance to the Beat - Poetry). This has been assigned in ThinkCentral, and should be completed BEFORE our Meet. Lesson 10 (“Jose’! Born to Dance”) online TEST, assigned in ThinkCentral. You have until the end of the day to complete this.

Writing: Student Book pages 296, 310-311. We will take a look at this together when we Meet.

Math: Multiply 3- and 4- digit numbers by one-digit numbers. We Do pages 96-97 (1-29 ODD) and You Do (2-28 EVEN). 

Religion: What is the Resurrection? Pages 82-83.

Social Studies: Lesson 4B Lewis and Clark explored lands of the Louisiana Purchase, pages 34-35.

Readworks: If you haven’t already finished, complete “The Human Body: You’ve Got Some Nerve. This was assigned yesterday, and due today.

IXL SKILLS: Math D.14, D.20, ELA F.1, F.3. G.G.1, LL.7 LL.8, and V.2. DUE Monday, 12/7.


5th Grade:

Math: Lesson 4-5. Use divisibility rules to mentally determine one-digit factors. Pages 76-77. We will go over the rules today to become familiar with them, and work as many of the odd problems as time allows. Science: Similar cells form tissues and organs in the plant. Pages 98-99. 

Vocabulary: Use a thesaurus and recognize words that describe people. Pages 86-87. Continue working on your sentences with Unit 8 words.

Reading: Close Reader, Lesson 6 (Why Koala Has No Tail). This has been assigned in ThinkCentral, and should be completed BEFORE our Meet. Lesson 6 (“Quest for the Tree Kangaroo”) online TEST, assigned in ThinkCentral. You have until the end of the day to complete this.

English: Review verbs. Reader’s Notebook page 71.
