4th Grade: 

Grammar: Minute 40 (Linking Verbs) 


Daily Language Review (DLR): Week 7, Friday (capitalization, punctuation, and spelling errors)

Handwriting: Lesson 8 (Check to see if all sections have been completed, tear lesson 8 out of your workbook, and turn in with your work packet later today.)

ELA (Journeys): Login to your ThinkCentral account. The online version of the weekly test for “Invasion from Mars” has been assigned. Complete the online test, for practice. https://www-k6.thinkcentral.com/ePC/start.do  Practice with any of the assigned activities that you didn’t practice on Thursday.

Math: Minute 33. You have been emailed a copy of the Chapter 3 TEST to complete. It has also been assigned. https://www.sadlierconnect.com/@991655  You have the choice of printing the test and completing it, or completing the online version. If you complete the paper version, it should be included along with your packet by end-of-day today. Also, please include any workbook pages and textbook pages that we have completed this week. Check the blogs to see which pages to include.

5th Grade:

Math: Using patterns to multiply whole numbers by multiples of 10, 100, 1,000. Workbook 33-34.

Science: Know similar cells form different kinds of structures. Take notes in your Science Journal on pages 42-43. 

Social Studies: An assignment has been added to Google Classroom, detailing a timeline activity, related to page 27 in your textbook (Apply It). 


Vocabulary: Unit 5 TEST. 

Reading: Read a book of your choice for pleasure (at least 20 minutes). Be sure you have taken your RQ for Island of the Blue Dolphins. Don’t forget to submit your results, if you haven’t already. 

*Look back at the blogs from Monday, October 12th through today to see which assignments need to be turned in with your Reading packet this afternoon (by 5:00).  I will pick up your work on Saturday morning from the bin. Tear out workbook pages, include assignments on notebook paper, etc. Paperclip or staple subjects together, check the headings on your notebook papers.
