Daily Language Review (DLR): Week 20, Friday (Correct Word in a Sentence).
Reading: Lesson 17 TEST.
ReadWorks: We will read and discuss “A Tale of Segregation: Fetching Water” together, and you will submit your answers to the questions in ReadWorks by end-of-day today.
Writing: We will share our friendly letters, provide feedback to each other, and make any necessary corrections before submitting a final draft. Before our 9:15 Meet (because of Mass) please post a picture of your rough draft on our group Hangouts page.
Math: Lesson 8-4 Find quotients that include zeros. Pages 154-155. (We Do ODDs, You Do EVENs) **IXL Skill Plan 8-4.1 Divide 3-digit numbers by a 1-digit number. Due Monday, March 1st.
Science: We will discuss Sea Quest Virtual Field Trip #18. The link is on Thursday’s Blog.
Social Studies: Lesson 7B Civil Rights Movement, pages 58-59. Read before our afternoon Meet. We will discuss.
Vocabulary (Sadlier): Unit 7 TEST. Do your best! The test is assigned in Sadlier.
5th Grade:
Math: Lesson 5-7, continued. Order fractions and mixed numbers, pages 112-113 and workbook pages 87-88.. **IXL Skill Plan 5-7.2 (Put fractions in order.) Work to a Smart Score of 80 or better. Due Monday, March 1st.
Science: If you haven’t finished IXL P.3 and P.4, please complete by end-of-day.
Vocabulary (Sadlier): Use words in Unit 14 in your own sentences on notebook paper.
Reading: Lesson 13 TEST.
Writing: “Opinion Writing” We will share your letter to Molly Pitcher, persuading her NOT to accompany her husband to the battlefield. We will provide constructive feedback, and you will submit a final copy. Before our 11:00 Meet, please post a picture of your rough draft on our group Hangouts page.
