Daily Language Review (DLR): Week 11 Wednesday (Syllables, Spelling)

Reading: I have assigned the leveled reader “Sisters Play Soccer” in ThinkCentral. Digitally annotate, take notes, and answer the questions on page 15. Use your stylus. :0) 

Grammar: Commas in Compound Sentences. Reader’s Notebook page 105.

Writing: Explanatory Essay (Pre-write).

Math: Minute 51. Lesson 5-2, continued. Use properties to multiply efficiently. Readworks: “First Thanksgiving Meal”, due Friday. “Native Americans” Article-A-Day set, due Friday (choose 2 or 3 of the articles to respond to).

5th Grade:

Math: Lesson 4-3, Pages 72-73. We Do (EVEN) You Do (ODD)

Science: Read Chapter 3, Lesson 1 before class. We will discuss during our Meet.

Religion: Chapter 7 TEST

Vocabulary: Suffixes -ly and -ful, Reader’s Notebook page 51. 

Reading: Review vocabulary. Poetry, pages 158-161. Compare texts.

Grammar: Using negatives correctly. Reader’s Notebook page 58.
